ogun and the politics of bitterness

Politicians in ogun state have been advised to eschew all forms of bitterness and allow peace to reign in the state before, during and after the 2011 general elections. This was the view of stakeholders at the first ogun west youth summit where the youths in ogun west senatorial district vowed to do everything possible to ensure that aspirant from the zone emerged as the governor of hte state come 2011.
They blamed the lack of concensus among the leaders and aspirants in the zones as reason for the marginalisation of the senatorial district since the creation of the state adding that such will not be allowed to happened in the coming elections.

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR

Love is the gift from God, infact, God himself is love. Whosoever loves is of God and know God, so let us not love in words but let love ourselves in action. Love is the only phenomenon that makes the world go round, without love, peace cannot be achieved while meaningful development cannot be realised without love. What we are witnessing today in nigeria is due largely to absence of love between the leader and the led. For the country to realise her potentials, there must be love across board, so let us love ourselves because love makes the world go round.

2011

The race for the 2011 general elections in Nigeria is becoming interesting as various contenders have continue to flex muscles although the umpire for the much expected poll has not roll out the time table for the contest that will determine the future of this great country. The federal government through the approval of the national assembly has graciously granted the reguest by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the smooth conduct of the elections.
However, for the coming election to be successful,  all stakeholders need to come together and cooperat6e with the umpire for the success of the poll because INEC alone cannot bear the responsibilities. Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora must understand that our future is in our hands which require that we must not fail ourselves. We have no other country that we can call our own, this is our beloved country, we must do every possible to make it great.
We all know that Nigeria is a great nation with a lot of both human and natural resources, we have no escuse for failure. This is the time for us to join hands together to rebuild our nation. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
